The Web Guide provides students, teachers, and parents with a starting point for research on a variety of topics.

Why use the Web Guide?
 

Unlike search engines that provide a wide variety of information, often useless, we have created the Web Guide to provide fast access to Internet resources on topics that Wake Forest-Rolesville Middle School Students typically research.

How is the Web Guide organized?
 

On all of the Web Guide pages, there are links to two types of tools: databases and topics pages. The Web Guide Directory provides a listing of the various databases available to Wake Forest-Rolesville Middle School Students. Within the listings, we have included explanations of each database as well as how it is used.

The topics pages are links to sites across the Internet that provide good information on particular subjects. In addition, we have included topics pages on various search engines and reference tools. One note on the topics pages. Several pages contain more than a single topic. Below is a brief chart listing the topics included on given pages.

You can use the tool bar to the left to navigate between pages, as well as to return to the Wake Forest-Rolesville Middle School Home Page. The tool bar will be on the left hand side of the page throughout the Web Guide for your ease of use.

Ask a Librarian...
 

On all of the topics pages, as well as on the Web Guide Directory page, you will find an opportunity to "Ask a Librarian". If you are having trouble finding information on a particular topic, don't find links to the information you need, or have problems with any of the links, just e-mail a librarian. One note: "Ask a Librarian" does require some turnaround time. Responses will be e-mailed back during normal school hours. Please do not use this option for questions requiring immediate (less than 24 hour time frame) response or when school is not in session. Thank you.
