To register your child, the following information is needed at the time of registration:

IF TRANSFERRING FROM WITHIN COUNTY THE REGISTERING STUDENT'S PARENT/GUARDIAN MUST PROVIDE:

  • Proof of residence (electric, gas, or water bill, signed rental or lease agreement or signed purchase contract for a purchased home in the name of parent(s)/guardian.
  • Latest Report Card and Withdrawal form when transferring in during the school year

OR

If transferring in over the summer, just need the latest report card.

IF TRANSFERRING FROM OUTSIDE THE COUNTY THE REGISTERINGT STUDENT'S PARENT/GUARDIAN MUST PROVIDE:

  • Proof of residence (electric, gas, or water bill, signed rental or lease agreement or signed purchase contract for a purchased home in the name of parent(s)/guardian.
  • Latest report card and Withdrawal form when transferring in during the school year

OR

If transferring in over the summer, just need the latest report card.

  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunization
  • Social Security Card
  • Discipline status enrollment form, which has to be notarized (This form can be accessed at www.wcpss.net under forms>student due process>discipline status form)

Other items of interest:

  • If you are staying with a family member, there is a different proof of residency form that has to be filled out, which is available to you in our office.
  • Calling ahead and/or making an appointment are always helpful.
