Supply List for Wake Forest-Rolesville Middle School

Hello and welcome to the 2007-2008 school year. We hope you are as excited about starting a new year at Wake Forest-Rolesville MS as we are. The following list is a “generic” supply list. You may receive additional requests for specific supplies at the Back To School Night.

Please only bring the binder, writing utensil and paper for the first day of school .

Supplies to Purchase :

  • One – 3” binder (any color)
  • 1 pack of tab “dividers”
  • Pen/pencil pouch (please label with student name)
  • 1 box of “colored” pencils
  • 1 box of blue or black pens
  • 1 box of #2 pencils (lead pencils ok)
  • At least one ream of 8 ½” x 11” “lined” paper
  • 1 - 70-sheet single subject 3-hole “spiral” (for Social Studies)
  • A combination lock for your PE locker (a separate lock will be supplied by the school for hall locker.)
  • 1 glue stick
  • 1 ruler
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • Highlighters (assorted colors)
  • 1 pack of 3x5 index cards
  • 1 – 2 pocket folder with prongs
  • Pocket Dictionary

Optional

•  1 packet of sheet “protectors”

•  A packet of tissues (kept in pouch)

•  A small bottle of hand sanitizer (in pouch)

•  Calculator (model to be announced)

 

Please Avoid:

•  Rolling backpacks (too large to put in lockers)

•  “Trapper Keeper” binders (fall apart easily)

•  Glitter pens

•  Laser pointers

* Shorts (black, navy blue, royal blue)

* Sweat suits may be worn in cold weather

* Athletic shoes (light soles preferred)

* Socks

* Lock for gym locker

* Deoderant

* Three ring binder for Health

Please note: additional items may need to be purchased, as each team has different requirements; do not purchase expensive items, composition or other types of notebooks until you have met with your team.
